Jaimari Young
Program Director
Jaimari Young serves as the Upward Bound Program Director. She was born and raised in the city of Rialto. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology that she received from the California State University of Los Angeles. She also has her Master in Public Administration which she received from the California State University of San Bernardino. Jaimari is a dedicated, resourceful, and goal-oriented professional with a strong commitment to assist youth in the community by helping them obtain and achieve their goals. Jaimari loves working with the Upward Bound program. The program aligns with her passion to help change lives and build futures. When Jaimari isn’t at work she loves spending time with family.
Esmeralda Diaz
Academic Coach
Esmeralda Diaz Serves as an Academic Coach with Upward Bound. Esmeralda has a Bachelors in Sociology and a minor in Spanish that she received from the University of California, Riverside. She also has two years of experience working in a school setting. Before joining Upward Bound Esmeralda worked as an Avid tutor with an after school program. As well as working with students, she also enjoys going to the gym and reading.
